Fallout 3 DLC fixed…yet again!

The Pitt – i.e. Fallout 3’s DLC – is incorrigible, or so it seems. Originally released on March 24, it was broken, then fixed. Then it was broken some more and fixed some more. It has now been re-re-released. Bethesda has announced that The Pitt issue has been resolved and that any Xbox 360 owner who experienced screen freezes previously must delete the old version and install the latest file afresh. Bethesda's Blog contains detailed instructions for those who may want to try it out again. Basically this entails downloading The Pitt again and then installing it. Bethesda says: “If you haven’t experienced any issues with freezing, there’s no need to re-download.” Got it! Fortunately there’s no payment required of the already much beleaguered users. Here’s the link to Fallout 3’s Xbox LIVE Marketplace page. Hoping for some third time luck? I won’t count on it.
