The spotlight was Marvelous Interactive’s indentations to pursue a Wii edition of the Rune Factory series. Firstly, he revealed that the game is due out for launch on DS, next month, in US and secondly, a sequel is in pipeline for Japan that too will be launched sometime later this year.

When asked about the standalone Rune Factory franchise, he assures that the franchise will go ahead separately, having no association with “Harvest Moon,” i.e. Rune Factory has now become an independent franchise. Furthermore, he added that a new angle will be added to Wii version and Rune Factory will grow up as an original series.
