Now there’d be no need to feel jealous of the guy who owns a different console; alternatively, however there might be even more reasons for those green eyes. That all depends if you are satisfied with what EA delivers with FIFA 09 on your particular gaming console. This autumn’s installment of FIFA promises something for every machine. EA says that FIFA 09 is designed to ‘take advantage of the hardware specifications of each available platform’. Irrespective of the console there are promised several firsts. Coming back to the platform specific features, on PS3 the game would deliver new animation technology. For PC players, FIFA 09 promises photo-realistic features and on Wii the players would be able to play their Mii characters along with the normal in game players. PS2 players would not be left behind and for them the game would have 32 different tricks. For handhelds too EA promises unique features. On PSP would be a ‘Be A Pro’ feature and on DS there is, among others, an overhauled animation system, a new collision system and four new skill moves.
