Around a decade ago, on the day, Square splattered some fragrance in the air as it announced RPG Final Fantasy VII onto PS in Japan. At the moment, the developer is same and the date is same and game title is also same but where the difference lies is remake. Yes! Remake! Final Fantasy VII remake is under development.
Previously the platform was PS1 but presently Square is heading towards next-gen console as it seems to be the true friend of Sony as even after low sales of PS3, Square is sticking to its guns and has proved the amity.
The article is found on nenryoubbs that says that the title is really under development.
The report seems to be true as few days ago Square has developed the remake of FFI and FFII i.e. Anniversary Editions for PSP so we can take it as a true source. But what makes me insecure is no assertion on the part of developer. Anyway, let’s see which way the wind blows......!
