The dedication of Japanese fans for almost dead hardware surfaced as they ported Square-Enix’s Final Fantasy X to the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES).
The port happened by modifying a ROM of the Final Fantasy 2 game so that all new artwork and the script from the newer game is included and not left out.
Extra coding was done to allow the inclusion of the “Blitz Ball” game as well.
