If we go to the past announcements made by Rockstar Games, then these statements very clearly say that Rockstar has no plans to bring the successor of its most controversial action title Grand Theft Auto to the PS2. But some printed material over ESRB website makes me reconsider it.

The site previously revealed Rockstar plans to think beyond portable platform and now it has come back with jaw dropping news that says Rockstar officials have announced Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories for PS2.
Making a formally declaration, the game developer said that the PS2 version of GTA will ship on March 6th in North US while on March 9th, 2007 in Europe.
Price thing is still to be announced; hope, would soon come out..!
