The much awaited PS3 2.0 firmware is expected to be released any day. This is one firmware that has been awaited due to its enhanced features. The newly released PSP 3.72 firmware contains some important features such as remote play, which requires the PS3 associated to the PSP to be running on the PS3 2.0 version. This has created a lot of hype among PS3 enthusiasts in the internet circles.

The whole array of features of the PS3 2.0 firmware will enable the user to access the cross media bar menu while a game is running. This will make the PS3 more functional and user friendly. Although there is no official confirmation of these features, Sony has revealed that it will allow the Playstation 3 to be booted for remote play. This surely is an indication for things to come and its just calculative guessing that makes these features almost certain in the new firmware.
