The latest game from Kouji Okada’s Gaia studio announced the company is working on Coded Soul, an original fantasy RPG for the PSP. Soon Gaia will bring new playing game exclusively on the PSP.
Okada is creating the RPG Coded Soul. In RPG Coded Soul, you play as Jay, who is soldier and travels to the world of Idea to save his girlfriend, May. The army has been conducting research into Monolith Gate, the door to the world of Idea. Gale, a young boy who gives special power to Jay as he travels to the other side, is controlling the door of Idea. Players would be able to capture monsters, which they can customize and level-up. After a while, the players can then form a party and go to battle with these monsters.
The RPG Coded Soul will be able to connect with Folklore but failed to provide a detailed explanation. The company is unveiling the new PSP game in two gameplay modes; one for clearing dungeons and the other for monster trading. The company is using ad-hoc capability of the Sony handheld for communication play. While waiting for more details, just check out this first magazine scan for Coded Soul.
