AMD is synonymous with high performance processors that gamers loved. Now, they have just announced the specs for a brand new line of PC's targeted squarely at PC gamers. The AMD Game! and Game Ultra range of PCs will feature a certain minimum specs that will support the requirements of existing games and soon-to-be-launched games. Thus, gamers will now be able to choose PC's according to their specific game requirements. In the near future, notebooks too will have these specs that could spawn an all new gaming notebook trend. Now that AMD is bringing their high performance processors to gaming notebooks, they need to roll up their sleeves and sort out the cooling issues as nobody would want fried thighs while fragging away. Meanwhile, both the Game! and the Game Ultra PCs have been tested with a decent crop of games that includes Sims 2 Deluxe, Sins of a Solar Empire and Half Life 2 amongst many other currently available games. Although it is early days to comment on how well these gaming PCs will be received by gamers, we still reiterate the fact that AMD needs to sort out cooling issues if it wants to make a major impact with these PCs.
