Gauntlet: Seven Sorrows
Gauntlet appeared in the arcades some two decades ago makes a comeback in its new avatar. When it first appeared, it was worth the price of admission that was 25-cent with its hack-slash action. It was a superb and highly addictive game then.

However, this time, Gauntlet: Seven Sorrows looks to be a boring version for the new age generation. Tough the warrior, elf, valkyrie, and wizard make a comeback with highly enriched and appealing graphics; they're not quite as interesting as they used to be.
Seven Sorrows sticks to the medieval gaming formula of hack-slash without any real innovation. The action is mediocre, gameplay seems too repetitive.
The result - a bland gaming experience.
I would rather you try it at a friends or rent out than buy it outright. I am not saying you won't like it, but then if you are into the latest action games, chances are you would find it moderately difficult to complete and much too boring indeed.
Nonetheless, I would rather you try it out first before you vote aye or nay to my judgment here. I have read other reviews by the pundits here; they say more or less the same thing as I have.
