The name of the game is Boose Cruise. The purpose is to prevent drunk driving. For the early teens, this is sort of a warning as to what might happen if you drive drunk. So, it's sort of a reality check for teen drivers.Hopefully, this game will prevent kids from taking the wheel for a spin after they chug down some shots at the local bar.

Here's the basic story. The main character in the game wakes up pissed off in the trunk of a car. Then, the target is to get to get home within 90 minutes. Within this period, distractions like the pink elephants will pop up on your screen. There will also be police check posts, jay walkers and other crazy drivers on the road.
You will have to get home safely in the midst of all the chaos and hustle bustle. The game is devised in such a way that the brain of the protagonist will function just like a drunk driver. The vision has been narrowed, and blurred as well. Reaction time has been also slowed in order to copy a drunk driver.
The game has been developed by a University of Calgary professor Jim Parker (digital media prof.). This game is a sober reminder of what will happen if you drink and drive. I am sure it will be a great learning tool for young adults. I hope the game pursues them not to drink and drive. It makes them aware of things like DUI and other aspects of drinking and driving.
