The Terminator franchise is set for another episode this summer when Terminator Salvation hits the big screen. And to match the current fad, movie’s release would be accompanied by a game – on all the major platforms, including mobile. Gameloft has announced that it has entered into a licensing agreement with The Halcyon Company to develop and publish a game based on Terminator Salvation on cell phones. The game would be released on the iPhone and iPod Touch on May 22. Here’s what Gonzague de Vallois, senior VP (Publishing), Gameloft said:

The Terminator franchise is one of the world’s most recognized brands and Gameloft is pleased to create the game that brings the excitement of the movie to your fingertips.
Any details about the game have not been revealed, as yet. The rumor has it that Terminator Salvation on the iPhone would actually be a cover-based shooter. The game would also make an appearance on other mobile phones.
