GameRigs has launched their new line of gaming systems, specifically for id Software gamers. They obtained the license to manufacture computer systems (desktops and laptops) branded with either the Enemy Territory QUAKE Wars or Quake 4 brand name. The series features 3 different system, the HEX, ECO and OMG, where the OMG is the best of the 3.

These systems run some of the best gaming hardware available in the world. The processors are Intel Core 2 Duo and Quad Core chips, with the highest being the Intel Core 2 Extreme QX9650 3.00GHz 12MB cache processor. Ballistix Tracer DDR2 RAM is used with a choice ranging from 2-4GB, with a bus speed of 1066Mhz. EVGA nForce motherboards are used, with choices ranging from the 750i SLI FTW to the 780i SLI 775 A1 Version board. The graphics chip set choice range includes some of the best SLI cards out there, with the best card being the NVIDIA GeForce GTX280 SLI (X2). Also, the Sound Blaster X-Fi series of sound card is included. When an elite gamer shops for gaming hardware, the parts discussed here would be the ones at the top of his list.
If you though the internal hardware was the only good thing about these custom PCs, well don't be fooled. GameRigs also took the time to build proper housing cases to hold these gaming hardware beasts. The casing is made of the highest quality anodized aluminum alloy panels, larger air intakes, powerful cooling fans and easy-to-open compartment doors for easy access to the guts of the system. The system was also designed to be as silent as possible, because gamers don't want a system that sounds like a truck.
Within the case, there are cable management clips for easy and neat wire storage and 3 5.25" bays, 5 3.5" internal bay and 1 3.5" external bay. Each PC's external case is embellished with the game brand of your choice, whether it be Enemy Territory QUAKE Wars or Quake 4.
These systems are obviously not the cheapest on the market, but when you take into consideration the quality parts used to compile these powerhouses, the investment is more than worth it. The HEX (cheapest) is priced at US $2099 while the OMG (most expensive) goes for $4999. You can check out the full details and specifications for each of the three systems here.
