Gaming consoles receive grades

Yashpal SharmaNov 5 2006

The fall season is on and countdown has been started for release date of new next-gen consoles, PS3 and Wii. Game Daily has done a thoroughly examined analysis on the gaming consoles. Site has subtly categorized the consoles in various grades. The grades have been allotted to the games on account of gizmo's price, efficiency and feasibility in near future. Here are the annual results to your favorite gaming console:

Sony

PSP: B

Introduced in March 2005, the console comes with a pretty healthy price but multifunction makes the console to be graded B. The console can play movies with playing games.

Playstation 2: B+

The PS2 is priced at $130. The console is quite slim and I would like to converse about the DualShock 2 that has done an excellent job as a game controller. But hard luck the console could afford B+.

Playstation 3: B+

PS3 also procured B+ with a price range of $499-$599. The console is excellent no doubt but could not get appropriate position due to the delays in the release schedule (I think).

Microsoft

Xbox: D

Priced at $179.99 Xbox could afford D position even after having pretty low price. The developer MS has stopped the production of the console s.

Xbox 360: A

Microsoft's most reliable title Xbox360 bagged some honor to the MS with A grade. The console comes with price band of $299-$399. The secret behind the success of the consoles is the HD display.

Nintendo

GameCube: C

Even after having such a low price $99.99 GameCube could not fetch much for Nintendo. The game is starred with C.

DS Lite: A

DS LIte raised Nintendo's economy graph to the new heights. $129.99 price is noticeable but more significant figure is its touchscreen techniology and Wi-Fi connectivity than procured A rating to the console.

Wii: A

Nintendo is hoping too much from its upcoming next-gen console as well. ($249.99) Price is cool. The console comes with a Wii-mote too that provides a bonus to wild ecstasy to the gaming experience.
