Gaming industry: A wild-goose chase

We see the fanaticism of religious people and blame religion for the conflicts around the world but here I am gong to talk about a different kind of fierce rivalry and hatred sprouted between two gaming console developers. The thing is obvious because to be the part of race is the tendency of human being. That's what I am going to talk about here; the rivalry between Microsoft and Sony. Neil Thompson, chief of Microsoft says that Microsoft is still in race of consoles and says that they want to go head-to-head with Sony.

However Sony has dropped its next-gen console PS3 in Japanese market yesterday that are glimpses of good business for Sony. Microsoft says that without next-gen console this X-mass too it is still competing with Sony. Microsoft gas recently updated its Xbox console with HD movies and show downloads. The officials state that the decision is ahead to consumers either to go for Xbox360 with HD DVD and fantastic updations or for Blu-ray PS3 with hefty price.

Thompson further added they don't consider Sony a contender because Xbox 360 is still quite spirited against PS3 with quite heavy price. To create a more frictions in the way of PS3 Microsoft has chopped the price of its Xbox360 console to 100$ (not confirmed but seems to come true soon).

Wii can give Xbox360 slash the sale of Xbox but for just to a certain extent with pretty appreciable price but the drawback with Wii is its poor graphics that is enough to create a lot of vacuum for Xbox.

The race has entered in first stage right now; we have a lot to see onwards. So guys whom are you cheering for????
