Willy Wright, the brain behind one of world's most successful games, The Sins, believes that games are not value additions to the entertainment only; they are vehicle for self expression too. He believes that Games have the power to downsize all other forms of entertainment media.

Every year Japan shells out approximately 1100 game titles, but barring 15 or 20, most sank without trace. Tom Crago, the CEO of Tantalus, an Australian video game design studio that launched Top Gear: Downforce, said there are 10-20 games from Japan which every serious gamers from Australia, U.S and Europe would try their hand out. Similarly, great gaming stuff coming from Australia and U.S also.
May be it's time now creative and marketing brains from gaming industry create stuff which better caters to western culture to find a bigger audience.
