Gaming Wikipedia on the roll

The Game Innovation Database is a project that is under development from a team of Pittsburgh's Carnegie Mellon University. This is a Wikipedia-like gaming encyclopedia, which allows users (gamers, game enthusiasts, game haters, game researchers, game dreamers, game historians, game veterans etc) to browse and edit the website's content.

The development team of the university hopes that they can build a complete archive of last 35 years of gaming history. The site is still under development and the team feels that once completed this one will be the first of its kind to capture online record of fast changing gaming industry and will be regarded as a practical resource to all the gaming enquiries.
