Epic’s Gears of War is shaping up very nicely on Microsoft’s next-gen platform; in fact, it looks so good that other TPS developers would be a little bit jealous. Roadie run was corroding the great Xbox360 title, and as declared earlier, today is that sacred day when GOW receives the much needed patch to get that bug fixed.
The patch jumps into the party with some more achievements points with it meant for “Annex” game type that you can get for paying just nothing. The achievement points, around 250 (in 8 Achievements), improve previously mentioned roadie run. The ‘Hidden Front’ map pack is also available on the Xbox Live for 800 MS points until Sept. 3rd; after date the patch will be free.
The new achievements will be unlockable during online play and relate to the Annex game mode and Hidden Fronts map pack.

The patch also promises to fix issues with the protagonist’s cover system, particularly snagging on walls while running to give cover, caused by updates included in last patch. ‘General housekeeping’ has also been added to the patch menu.
