None of us can forget Halo 2 that maintained itself on the epic height for more than two year after its release. But now it seems that the new titles are crating some friction in the way of Halo 2 to go it to top position. Recently debuted title Gears of War, the third person shooter game with Unreal Engine 3 has pushed its way to the top position showing Halo back-door.
Halo 2 stayed unbeaten for continuous two year and now predecessor of Halo has arrived. However another third party title Call of Duty 3 designed by Activision enabled second position after GOW while Contra could procure third.
The alteration in the trend is due to the enhanced technology, improved graphics and multiplayer capability that are making gamers crazy about the titles.
