Remember the first Gizmondo? ‘Not all that great’, must be your first thought, and yeah, it’s true. Those of you who have been waiting for a better version are lucky, because the Gizmondo 2.0 is spectacularly better than the original. Featuring either a Windows CE or Google Android as an operating system and an nVidia video card, you can say hello to all these flashy new games you thought wouldn’t run on the old one.
Don’t think that it ‘might be’ released, because it’s now official, that the new Gizmondo 2.0 will hit stores by the end of the year, and not any other year, but this year, 2008. Makes a pretty cool Christmas gift.
Of course, looking back at the old one, you can’t be all that hopeful that it’ll be all that great, but mind you, the old one wasn’t that bad, in my opinion. It was pretty good and this one is sure to be awesome.
