In an exclusive interview with French mag, Joypad, Gran Turismo producer Kazunori Yamauchi disclosed some interesting facts about fresh iteration in the Gran Turismo series dubbed Gran Turismo V for the PS3. This title, as well, comes from Polyphony Digital, who will be taking advantage of full power of Sony's fertile next-gen console.

The mag informs that the game will feature online multiplayer mode with 12-20 users being able to participate in any one online race at a single time. Talking about cars included in the game, the new F1 cars have been included with all GT IV cars, plus downloadable cars and tracks.

According to the translated article, undermentioned are some salient features of the game:

Online mode for between 12-20 players

Downloadable tracks and cars via the PS Store

Complete range of Ferrari cars

Formula 1 vehicles

Dynamic weather conditions influencing races

New city tracks

Car damage

First thing that makes an impact on me is inclusion of F1 cars that Microsoft's Gotham Racing 4 already incorporates, so doesn't seem a high plus-point because GT V will have to face comparison with Microsoft's PGR IV. Anyway, the inclusion of dynamic weather changes that forces you to really know what you're doing, is another good point that will benefit GT V a lot. The game is likely to include even more than 700 cars found in GT IV. The game will see its launch sometime in Spring, next year.
