Firstly Nintendo has become the top inflation gainer amongst all gaming contenders; secondly DS Lite has been nominated title Gadget of the year award by Time magazine and lastly perhaps the most pleasing present for Nintendo is next-gen. console Wii's recommendation for Grand Award by American monthly Popular Science.

The magazine has mentioned the article regarding Wii in its Home Entertainment section. The magazine putting its remarks on Wii-mote says mentions that the controller comes with a small number of keys that can be manipulated with no complexity by any novice hand. Also putting light on control system of the Wii-mote it says that the controller works tremendously especially in case of Wii-Tennis gameplay, you simply require swinging your hands back and forth in air and you can see the ball on screen moving with great momentum.
Surely article on different magazines on Wii and DS Lite has hyped the products to such limit that developer requires no more to invest on endorsement but one fact about which (I think) the magazine is ignorant is the ill performance of Wii-mote during Tennis gameplay in which the controller doesn't show anything satisfactory. Even after that the magazine chose the console for Grand Award. One thing that is soothing is its affordable price that wills entice the maximum no. of gamers all over the world.
