There has been recent talk about Rockstar making a GTA movie. Although that would be totally awesome, it is totally impossible. Not long ago, Rockstar allegedly agreed to never make a movie as long as FOX never made a game that was like GTA. Thanks to Ron Howard we won’t ever get to see our favorite game in action in the theaters.
Although there has been a remake of that unrelated film has been planned for years, the game’s success has apparently had no impact on its mired production.
An unnamed source had this to say;
They are nowhere on the script. It has been one of 400 development projects for several years.
Thanks Ron Howard, your 1977 movie, which wasn’t even that good, has ruined our chances to have a movie like Eidos had for Hitman. I’m sorry to say, but I’ve lost respect for FOX and Ron.
