Grasshopper bringing The Silver Case to PS Store

For the uninitiated here’s a piece of info: Grasshopper Manufacture is a big name in gaming and if you haven’t heard of it you’ve not followed Japanese-scene closely enough. The company, to date, has to its credit just one PS title – The Silver Case (on PS1). The latest on this is that Grasshopper has decided to re-release the game on PS Store in Japan. Suda51 made an announcement regarding this at the 'Foreign Video Game Unlawful Assembly 2K8'. That being said, there is no word as yet on a release in NA. What we do know, of course is that the game is being developed for Nintendo DS, and a mobile phone sequel is also in the offing. The Silver Case was a big deal when it was released way back in 1999. Game’s plot follows a series of murders and weird happenings in '24 Districts'. Player works from two perspectives: Transmitter and Placebo. Tune back and we’ll update if any word comes out on a possible release in rest of the world.
