The latest issue of Famitsu magazine reveals that Sony and Digital Polyphony have confirmed that Gran Turismo 5: Prologue - a prequel to Gran Turismo 5, will hit the store shelves and the PlayStation Store across Japan on December 13th at a suggestive price of ¥4980(US$43). Moreover, the PS3 owners will be able to get their hands on demo version of the game on October 20th.
Here is what ‘duckroll’ has posted over at Neogaf Forum:
• Release date (PS3/SCE) December 13th
• Trial version to Oct 20th
• It can ride the car “mask GT-R” of puzzle with trial version
• [deitona] GT series first appearance
• GT.TV where you can see the car information program in the world
• Product using the money which is saved in the offline race/lace event of edition
• It can obtain the new model car of fascination
More precisely, the game release has been deferred by few weeks across the region. I am a bit confused as (according to magazine) launch of playable demo is quite near to the original release date confirmed by SCE, earlier. As the report carries no authenticity, hence should be taken with a pinch of salt. Hope, SCE would be sticking to its guns.
