GTA IV exclusive content for $50 million - cash on the barrelhead, Microsoft pays it all

Grand Theft Auto is a game franchise that carries an uncountable number of fans, and Microsoft has really worked hard to snatch the franchise from the Sony. Though, Microsoft’s days were brimming with life as it succeeded in substantiating Grand Theft Auto IV launch ate with PS3 version, but that was not the destined end.

Presently, it reports coming from different sides state that Microsoft has to lose some warmth of its pocket to get some Xbox360 exclusive content. To get Xbhox360 exclusive content, Microsoft is going to pay Take-Two a sum of $50 million as an inducement.

The exclusive pack that Microsoft is paying for comes in the shape of two episodic content packages, each costing $25 million. I think, $50 million would be more than enough to overwhelm its finical crises….lolzz.

Talking about inducement, Take-Two CFO Lainie Goldstein says that the first 25 is for the first episodic content package that’s supposed to go out and that is in March of ’08, while the second 25 will be for the second episodic that comes out in late fiscal 2008.

Moreover, Take-Two officials also put remarks on the sales of PS3 sales and alleged that the well-accepted franchise that has been brought to the Sony’s PS3 console, will lay a significant impact on the dying sales of console.

So GTA IV is the game that every gamer should possess, no-matter, the content is coming exclusively to the Xbox360, still there are so many things that varies from console to console and with GTA IV on two completely different portals, the game will be no more a cyclical experience as the game sees its release on October 16th, this year (Oct 19th in Europe).
