Findlay, the time has come to grope around for your old hairspray because its time to rock. Harmonix feels proud to announce the launch date of Guitar Hero Encore Rocks the 80s; a latest installment in the popular Guitar Hero music videogame string.
As the title of the game suggests the sequel features songs of 80s and as you get your hands on the game, you’d get a touch of that golden era in each and every playable character, dressing and artwork.
The game is slated for launch sometime around this summer. If you visit Guitar Hero official site, you will find the game available for pre-order.
If we decipher the game in mechanical language, the game appears much like its ancestors, having almost same co-op aggressive two-player gameplay with dangling guitar tracks and the training mode that lets you practice in slow motion on different tracks.
Previously, the game had just 15 playable tracks, but with a new pre-launch title update, the developer has added three new tracks to the list, taking the total up to 18. Undermentioned are three newly added songs:
• Balls To The Wall (Accept)
• Only A Lad (Oingo Boingo)
• The Warrior (Scandal)

The will cost $49.99 as it ships to the retailer stores, this July. The sequel is PS2 exclusive.
