Gunstar Heroes - Japan CoverAccording to IGN a retail source in Japan has reported that that Sega’s upcoming Treasure Box compilation will have not just the Genesis and Mega Drive versions of Gunstar Heroes, but the one of the rarest Treasure games - the Game Gear version as well!



Treasure Box includes ports of three Treasure classics -



i. Gunstar Heroes,

ii. Dynamite Headdy and

iii. Alien Soldier.



This time Sega has included the overseas versions as well and not just the original Japanese versions, including digital versions of the English instruction manuals.



The Game Gear version of Gunstar is a port of the Genesis original. Therefore IGN correctly says; ‘Treasure Box will be the first chance to see if any differences exist between the two versions.



It is going to be really exciting for not just the Treasure games fans but also a chance for the ones who were left out before to see what an interesting proposition that could well turn out to be.
