Halo 3 addicts in New Zealand have been given the golden opportunity to test their might at the upcoming New Zealand World Cyber Games (WCG) qualifier and get a chance to compete with Halo 3 champs from across the world. The global WCG tournament has already attracted over 1.5 million gamers from across 74 countries and 15 of the qualifiers of the NZ event will be named to represent the nation at the WCG Grand Final in Cologne, Germany this November. To enter the competition, gamers need to register online for the three-day, non stop New Zealand World Cyber Games National Qualifier from July 11-13 at the TelstraClear Pacific Events Centre in Auckland. The winners of the event are eligible for prizes from the sponsors with the top prize for the world champion standing at an impressive NZ$3.6m.
