According to some recent reports, the shooting for the movie based on the cult game Halo will start shooting within six months.

Peter Jackson who did Lord of the Rings and King Kong will be producing this project. A Director is yet to be narrowed down, but will soon be on board. There is a noise around of some shortlisted names.
And it is very likely that the production will commence in Wellington, New Zealand this spring. Halo the movie will release sometime in 2007.
