Yeah! Its fresh new and very first day of Year 2007.....!A VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL THE OUR READERS...! The earth has kept its words with revolving around the sun for unstopped 365 days or 8760 hours all through a year and the gaming industry also kept up ye momentum with introducing their respective gaming consoles in accordance with preplanned schedule except Sony's EU PS3 launch that has been postponed until March 2007 due to Blu-ray components shortage.

2006 was a mixture of pleasant and gloomy memories like the launch of innovative next-gen consoles; PS3 and Wii by Sony and Nintendo respectively in Japan and US. The fanboys were ecstatic regarding the launch of consoles and waited outside the retailer stores for tedious long hours in dark chilly nights while some others camping outside the kiosks for weeks ago to score a console. Nintendo's Wii console did well with filing a good transaction around the world while Sony's PS3 couldn't give quite satisfactory show but gradually things are getting better and SP3 sales figures are escalating and positively it will cope with circumstances. Some controversies also raised their heads like Hot Coffee scam and anti-Christian portrayals in Left Behind: Eternal Forces.
