The hot news is that Blizzard entertainment (producer of World of Warcraft) has publicly informed that it has licensed the Havok 4.0 physics engine for use on both PC and Mac platforms. The technology licensed by Game-developers has licensed the technology, as they want to add 3D game physics mechanism to their devices that was not available on the Macs before. The significant figure is that Havok physics engine has already been incorporated into many other PC games like Halo 2 and Half Life 2.

Favoring the deed Havok's vice president, Product Management, Jeff Yates states,
The Mac is an important piece of technology and because of the cross-platform nature of Havok's technology, the port to Mac was easy to do. Furthermore, Blizzard Entertainment's commitment to OS X and to the Mac community is a good indication of the growth potential of the Mac as a games platform. Blizzard has always put out great games on the Mac, and we look forward to Havok becoming a part of that tradition.
Though, Blizzard's next move in favor of Havok is still a mystery as no further projects from Blizzard have been disclosed until now (other than Burning Crusade; an expansion pack for World of Warcraft).
