Ubisoft announced on the 8th of September that FarCry 2 will be available in stores nationwide on the 21st of October. The game is awesome. If you’ve seen the trailers, you know what I mean. It not only includes amazing graphics, but also a custom-made video game engine built by Ubisoft’s Montreal development studio.
Also, get ready for a special Limited Edition version of the game, but only if you pre-order through GameStop. It has a few great goodies:
- Fold-out map of the open world of the game
- Exclusive packaging
- 6 bonus missions; almost 3 hours of gigantic game play
To be honest, this is a deal worth it because, if you’re thinking about the Limited Edition’s extra price, then guess what... there isn’t any. Yes, that’s right, both versions are for the same price. But my favourite bit about this is that the game is available on all the major systems, such as the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and most importantly, the PC, which most other companies stupidly ignore. We’ll, what’re you waiting for, get pre-ordering!
