According to a survey by Nesta Futurelab involving teachers in Britain, a third of teachers are using computer games in the classroom. What’s more, a majority of them believe they improve pupils’ skills and knowledge.
Also, the survey of 1,000 teachers in England and Wales suggests that one-fourth of them personally use them in their free time.
Computer games are believed to be ‘a good motivational tool’ by over 50% of those questioned.
However, two-thirds said they could lead to anti-social behaviour.
