IBM to start V-Business in Second Life

Day before yesterday, Linden Lab open sourced the viewer software so that the maximum no of the developer could participate in the big online community to develop new programs. Now after Dell, another IT giant, IBM is headed for Second Life as it showed a great desire to open retailer stores in the 3D virtual world ands soon it will be commencing the project in upcoming days.

With opening its online stores in virtual world the IBM will pull its helping hand towards consumer electronic retailers like Sears Holdings Corp. and Circuit City Stores Inc. to help them in retail business.

The fundamental purpose behind initiating online stores is to kick off online consumer consultancy. Presently there are more than 2.4M people around the globe who have subscribed to the online 3D world and created characters, called avatars and are living their virtual life on the virtual island that's why IBM is planning to carry out its online consultancy services which will help customers have more information about the electronic appliance before buying it.

IBM chief technologist, Irving Wladawsky Berger truly said that the virtual world business is in its toddler stage and every investor thinks that this is for sure that the idea will work.

The success of virtual world is increasing BB subscription that is continuously gearing up day bay day and year by year. But increasing log-in to the virtual world would highly make the speed of the server sluggish that presently is an obstacle but Linden Lab looks quite inert on the issue and not trying to poke its nose in the matter. But as IBM will kick off its service, the problems will definitely mount as thousands of users will sing in at a time that can bring a downfall in the Linden's life.........!
