I'm pretty skeptical about this news and what it can achieve. I think it will take a lot of ingenuity, money and time to be able to catch up to where the DS and PSP are today. Those two companies, Sony and Nintendo, have an established fanbase with a stable product already in the field. With a newcomer coming in, Apple, they might have some competition, however, they have a long way to go and they need to secure some real hit games before they will even be able to touch the PSP or the DS.
