According to this report by OXM the camera that was unveiled along side the Xbox 360 in last years E3 and which wasn't heard of ever since might be launched soon by Microsoft. It follows reports by developers that this was being shown to developers and they have actually leaked the thing.

It says the developer was impressed by the Eye-Toy type cam even though Microsoft only used it to carry out video-chat across Xbox Live.
