Is PS3 really a fertile buy?

Presently PS3 is the most pricey console as compared to the other twos in the market. Xbox360 has a price band of $300-$400 for the standard and premium consoles respectively whereas Wii is the cheapest in e market with only 250$. But if you want to score a standard version of PS3 console yon need to hurl somewhat 500$ and for Premium version you need to toss bulky 600$. Here are few points scripted on New York Times that are insisting you to go for a PS3 instead of other economic consoles:

1. The PS3 is compatible with a flat-screen TV if you haven't HDTV.

2. A HD DVD player is embedded inside the console to run HD DVDs.

3. PS3 console works with PSP with creating no nuisance through wireless means as well so that you could play PS3 games on PSP and vice versa.

4. Sony's backward compatibility is also a plus point to purchase a PS3.

5. PS3 is cuddling many new games of its own as well as third party creation.

If you want to buy a PS3 console in spite of two low-priced (instead I must say cheapest consoles like Wii) wouldn't be enough persuasive to buy PS3 because if you wish for new and good gaming content then you can have Wii costing just 250$ and if you insist more on HD graphics then Xbox360 would be the better option.
