The world's largest game publisher has conformed that it's laying off 5% of it's workforce that amounts to 325 to 350 employees.
It comes a day before EA was to announce its Q3 earnings.
However, yesterday Corporate Communications Manager EA Trudy Muller told CNET News.com that the layoffs were unrelated to holiday sales but has to do something with realigning the company's resources as it grapples with the transition from current-generation to next-generation consoles.
Okay, point taken. Now if a sacked employee goes to a rival game publishing company then it would of course be their personal creative and economic freedom, right Mr. Alain Tascan?
