It's teachers' turn to be taught: Teachers asking help from students for PlayStation!

The story goes like this: The principal of Blair Elementary School, Wilmington, NC, Sharon Sand needed someone to instruct teachers in the use of PlayStations. She did what was the best option available; she turned to the experts - the students!

Actually, the school purchased 23 PlayStations last month spending about $20,000 in federal money and software for educational games for 3rd, 4th and 5th graders. As was expected of the 'older generation' not all the teachers took to the video games, so much so that one was reported to have became so flustered that she didn't want use them in class.

So, students gave advice on plugging in the machines, using the software and navigating the buttons.

Ms Sand however said;

Not all the teachers needed the help, but many did. They're illiterate when it comes to this.

Cheers gamers and cheers Ms Sand for your thoughtfulness!
