Japan PS3 launch: Less than one PS3 title per console sold

Reviewing PS3 sale in Japan Enterbrain, the publisher of Famitsu revealed that the PS3 sale-stats of Japan tells that the tie-in ratio of software to PS3 sales is 0.98 that means less than one game per console sold on Japanese release day.

The console made available to the gamers via grey market sold out 88,400 units within two days; however the no. of shipped-in consoles was 100,000. The repost says that the second-hand consoles will be available for purchase online labeled with 'used'.

The best selling titles at launch day were Namco Bandai's Ridge Racer 7 and Gundam: Target in Sight, both of which sold around 30,000 units.
