Jonathan Blow's Braid recieves critical acclaim

Game designer Jonathan Blow has designed one of the best games on the Xbox or elsewhere with his 'Braid'. The game takes 2D to new levels with puzzle gaming and creates an awesome package that plays around with the rules of time and expectations and also with your mind. On the Metacritic charts, the game has earned the 8th place and can be downloaded online. The game is about a young man and his quest for the usual princess. However, the Braid isn't so simple and as discussed earlier, plays with your mind in spite of the seeming mundaneness and simplicity of the structure.

This mind-boggling game is priced around $15 and is designed for Xbox 360. The game can be a defying factor for the structuralists of the gaming world, for it defies the idea that two games with a similar structure is essentially a duplicate of the other, though the plot might change. Here, in Braid, the game has a very common and mundane structure but you will know that the game transcends the limits a structure imposes and takes 2D games to an entirely new level.
