Australian publisher JoWood has ended its long-term relations with Pluto 13 (Piranha Bytes), the developer of renowned Gothic franchise for the PC. The latest announcement from the desk of JoWood has educated us both the things. Firstly, the next iteration to the action-RPG Gothic series i.e. Gothic 4 is underway and secondly, it has discontinued its relationships with Pluto 13.

Though, it sounds a bit disappointing that JoWood and Pluto 13 are no more business-mates, but the thing to watch is the substance of the fourth chapter in the Gothic series.
As per JoWood’s communique, company decided to sidetrack because they couldn’t come to terms regarding the development of Gothic 4. However, the new developer hasn’t been named yet but tad changes in the gameplay and graphical quality are for sure. Moreover, the game will be making its appearance on the current-gaming consoles (despite of next-gen consoles) as well as PC platforms.

Though, the new developer will be developing the fourth chapter, so we can hope entirely new and exceptionally responsive gameplay with enhanced graphics. Unlike, prior edition, Gothic 4 is expected to be non-buggy game.
