Kiss Java Cellphone games goodbye, Fly has Nintendo!

No need to bother your mobile phone with those lame-ass Java games. They are history. Fly has just launched MC100 and has put in support for Nintendo’s games. Yes, it still has Java MIDP2.0 / CLDC1.1. support, but what takes the cake is a built-in support for Nintendo (nes/smc/gb/gbc) platform.

A medium sized phone (111.4 × 50.2 × 15 mm) MC100 weighs in at a nice 106 g. Gaming fun is taken care of by a powerful 1050mAh Li-Ion battery that provides for a 5-hr talk time and 330 hrs on standby. Here are some of the other specs on MC100:

• 262K, 240X320 resolution

• 2 MP camera with digital zoom and video recording

• MIDI, IMY, WAV, AMR, AAC, MP3 and MPEG4/3GP support

• In-built MP3 player and FM tuner

• USB charging

• Bluetooth 1.2 with A2DP

• Built-in speakers, designed by Yamaha

• 23 MB Internal memory

• microSD card support

Gaming is made easy with special gaming keys. And although the looks aren’t too gaudy, the long gaming hours ought to make it up. Fly MC100 is available at a price of around $270. A must for Nintendo fanatics.
