While the 360 certainly got a far better deal with the most recent version of the world’s most popular football series, Pro Evo 2008 had failed on both 360 and PS3. But still Xbox 360 fans can feel slightly better as the flawed PS3 version is far better than 360 sequel.
The series developer, Shingo Takatsuka admitted that his team has not designed for multi-platform and which he is starting from scratch with PES 2009. Despite already proving a solid commercial success, the critical reception to Konami’s Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 has been mixed and now lead developer Shingo ‘Seabass’ Takatsuka has admitted that he has gone back to the drawing board for the development of PES 2009.
He also stated that it was delayed due to another reasons. Being a developer, the team has worked in the same way since the days of the SNES. He claimed that PES 2009 is in development and soon it will be released in the market.
