Getting an unchanged game overseas is a pretty hard nut to crack, for a game developer. There are more than one examples that affect the game content with the change in the region. The game content has to receive a big change while shipped, overseas.

I won’t bother you anymore while giving you old techie instances, here is the most recent example that will get you out of drunk. According to the latest issue of Japanese gaming mag, Famitsu, the upcoming PS3 exclusive title Lair will debut in Japan under new name Rise from Lair. Though, I am tentative about the alteration in the game content but possibilities are immense. We will be able to authenticate the content issue as the game ships to the territory, later this year. The antipodes i.e. US folks will receive the game with no change in game content as well as name.

The game has been nicknamed in Japan for undisclosed reasons, we will let know as we get into a huddle. The game is Factor 5’s action/adventure genre, exclusively designed for PS3, scheduled for launch on sole platform on August 8th, 2007, for around US$48.
