Lara Croft Tom Raider when launched for the first time created a mass hysteria amongst gamers. That was in 2001 when the graphics and the sounds were not a fraction good than today's cutting edge graphics and sounds. Gaming enthusiasts thronged the stores and stood in queues overnight. It was an epoch making release, a smash-hit in video game history.

Now in late 2005 as Xbox 360 being released, Crystal Dynamics is set to exploit the power of the Xbox 360 with its newly created graphics system for Tomb Raider: Legend.

With support for real-time per pixel lighting, shadows and normal-mapping among other improvements, the Tomb Raider world has never been as lifelike before. Gamers are bound to be dazzled with hardcore adventure and exploration as well as organic environment and physics-based puzzles within an incredibly detailed world. teamXBOX says that the Xbox 360 demonstrates Lara's intricately animated expressions, fluid movement and realistic abilities, equipped, of course, with state of the art gear and weaponry. It also brings to life a new sense of awe and wonderment in stunning and immersive environments. And then, how can we overlook the futuristic gear and weaponry? Yes, they would be in excellent graphics and details.
