Lazy parenting is video gaming's worst enemy

There is no Jack Thomson in Europe to take care of violent games. So who should take the responsibility to check what kids are playing and how they behave afterwards. Though there is not even a shred of evidence to prove that violent games affect kids' beviour, people are concerned about it.

A new political campaign in Britain has illustrated once more that many people associate violent videogames with mob culture. However, the responsibility for controlling the media children access must not belong to the associations, groups, laws etc, but must be undertaken by parents.

Laziness on behalf of parents has been citied as the biggest reason for the videogames earning such a bad reputation.
