This has got to be the best testament to the invasion of video games into mainstream pop culture. Rockstar has just announced that it is going to launch an album featuring music from and inspired from the smash hit Grand Theft Auto IV. An original production from The Evil Genius DJ Green Lantern, Liberty City Invasion: Music from and Inspired by Grand theft Auto IV includes 8 tracks from the Liberty City Invasion show in the game apart from 8 new tracks inspired by the game. Now that’s hot! But having the GTA4 soundtrack haunting you from all possible corners after you’ve left your obsessed boy/girlfriend cuddling up with his game at home might be a bit too much to take for the non-gaming types.
