Here is a game that aims to encourage user-generated-content. This may take gaming to the next level where users don’t just play games, but also contribute to the forming of new games. Earlier, this was not possible to do at home and needed the help of professionals like artists, scripters, and audio programmers. Thanks to Sony Computer Entertainment America’s LittleBigPlanet, the new videogame, players can conjure ideas and translate into workable real games that can be uploaded and shared as well. The game will be released by Playstation Network on October 21 as both a retail disc and as a digital download.

What do you mean by user-generated-content?
The user would have the freedom to develop content and assumes he or she has the intellectual ability to do so. The best example would be wiki, where users submit their content and it adds up to the wider content pool. In this case, a gamer can create his/her own games and upload them for others to play
Another question: users can create using the game or is need a third software?
